You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago.

My First Cotton Candy Experience

My First Cotton Candy Experience

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Believe it or not, this is it, the first time of my life eating cotton candy. Karen and Lisa even had me phone my parents late at night to verify that there is no recollection of me ever eating cotton candy. My parents recalled nothing. Karen and Lisa saw that I was speaking the truth when I had a confused look on my face having no idea what to expect especially as I exclaimed, “It melts” when I put the first small piece in my mouth. If I can handle trying rocky mountain oysters, I think I can handle cotton candy.

I can totally relate! I've only had it once, and it was a bite of a friend's at a zoo. Very odd, certainly something I could live without.
