You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago.

Brenden's Valentine Robot

Brenden's Valentine Robot

Kansas City, Missouri

Brenden was a little sad when school was cancelled for a second day on Valentine’s Day. He was so proud of his robot to bring into school. His father helped him build it, and when you open the mouth to drop valentines inside the eyes and heart light up. But on the 15th he go to bring it to school, so he go to have two Valentine’s Days, the lucky guy. I have a feeling his robot was the talk of the school. I was jealous, I wish I had one of those! I even got to go in and have lunch with him later that day. I got to eat cafeteria food with a bunch of 2nd graders. It was cool. Brenden is a great kid, awesome manners, very talkative, very smart, and he was eager to show me his classroom. The last photo from an absolutely fantastic few days in Kansas City.
