You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago.

A Church of Katrina
Taken on: Mar 24, 2007 | 0 Comments
This flag remains in the empty destroyed church of Mississippi City United Methodist Church in Gulfport. The church is just two blocks from the Gulf Coast and was destroyed by Katrina. I was touched to see the original flag stil lin the building. There are water stains throughout the flag and the one large hole, other than that it’s in relatively great condition. To put it simply, the flag will mean a lot more than ever after this 50 state tour.
