You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago.

Teepee House: Spiral Staircase

Teepee House: Spiral Staircase

Greenville, Michigan

Aside from the teepee design of the home this is my favorite feature and I believe the highlight of the interior of the home. This wooden spiral staircase is beautiful! It was made by Lee himself (the wood came from his own farm, he even curved the wood himself). It’s an marvelous and unique feature that I have NEVER seen before. I have seen two spiral wooden staircases in my life, this one, and the house they lived in before moving in hee! Ha!
