Cedar Bridge

Winterset, Iowa

The Cedar Bridge is one of the six covered bridges in Madison County. Sadly it was burned down by arson a few years ago as well as the house in the bridges movie. It’s sad to think that someone would do that. Since the bridge has been rebuilt and is the only one that people can drive over.

I did't know the house burned down! Your Dad and I visited there about 5 years ago. Too bad.

It didn't entirely burn down, but it had some damage from arson. It's still there but they don't currently give tours of it is my understanding.
