-Bugsy You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago. See what I've been up to for the last 16 years at www.bugsy.me |

Helicopter RideManitou Springs, ColoradoWhen in Vegas, Carl and Heide originally thought that my trip through the Grand Canyon was going to be on a helicopter. Well I finally got my helicopter ride in Manitou Springs. It was one tiny helicopter. Thankfully it was a lot easier getting out than it was getting in.
Comment by Cheryl S. From Oak Park, MI I laughed when I saw your helicopter picture. Almost every 2 wks. I check in to see where you are. Good luck with your adventure!
Comment by Carl and Heide From Henderson, NV If you had to fly in that one, it would have been a real thrill ride! We would still be looking for you out there in the canyon. You do look good in it though! Glad to hear you had some fun in the snow.
Comment by Rocky From Tampa, FL Boy! It just dawned on me. I was almost exactly your age when I was bumming around Colorado and Manitou Spings back in 1988. I have a million story about that time, but I doubt the server your page is hosted on could store them all. :) It have changed obvilously over the years. I remember getting lost somewhere around Garden of the Gods park after a guy gave me a ride, and I was trying to walk back into town and accidently stepped into a hole and heard rattles!! Needless to say I moved rather quick! I also sold my plasma at a blood bank on Spruce street downtown. |
