Little Rock, Arkansas
The first thing that stood out at the Little Rock capitol was the front doors. At $10,000 a pop they came from Tiffany’s in New York City when the Capitol was built. Who knows what they would be worth today. They are the most beautiful doors I’ve seen on the trip and probably shine in the middle of the night. Sadly, after 9⁄11 does like these are never used anymore for security measures. But at the same time that will help preserve these doors for decades to come.
