You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago.

Home Sweet Snow

Tuesday, Oct 17, 2006 from Casper, Wyoming

A nice picture of home in the summer, fall, or spring is great. But, none of that compares to a picture of home in the snow. Some people may see it as cold, but it’s the warmest time of year. Throw a few logs in the fireplace, maybe jump in the sauna, enjoy a cup of hot cocoa, and put on a nice big heavy sweater, it’s the best time of year, especially the first decent snow storm!

My mom sent me these photos of home after the 7-8 inch snowstorm they had on October 12th. Kind of makes me miss home a lot more! I had to share these with everyone as home means the mostest to me. And winter is coming, I’ll be seeing a snowstorm soon. There were a few more flurries today and a light dusting on the Compass. There’s more to come. But this is my home, during the warmest time of year.

Hope you got to San Diego ok. We are suppose to have a big rain here today. You would know that when I am having 22 for dinner in the pouring rain. We enjoyed your visit. Keep in touch. Love, Carol
