-Bugsy You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago. See what I've been up to for the last 16 years at www.bugsy.me |

Spontaneous in MadisonThursday, Sep 14, 2006 from Madison, WisconsinI arrived in Madison yesterday shortly after noon and it was a day of spontaneity. It began with two girls from the University of Wisconsin Madison who left me a message after seeing the Milwaukee newspaper article. They said they’d be more than happy to have me for the night. So I met up with Nicole and had a pretty long walking tour of campus, State Street, and the capitol. I even had some more delicious ice cream. I said I was going to try a different kind in every state, but I’ve already had three kinds in Wisconsin already: strawberry Oreo custard, orange custard chocolate chip, and Ben and Jerry’s Magic Brownies. I’m off to a good start. After the ice cream and tour I met up with Marissa who I know through a friend from MSU. I tagged along to the UW Student Leadership Program welcome meeting. It was good to observe another university, brought me back to the early days at MSU. From there I met up with Adam (my brother) and his girlfriend Kimmie. It’s always great to visit. As we’ve grown older and more mature I think we enjoy each other’s company more and more. And then I came back to the girls places where five girls brought me out for a night in Madison. Spontaneous indeed. None of it was expected and none of it was planned. A great way to live. My time was short lived in Madison and it’s time to move on to Lake Villa, IL. -xo
