-Bugsy You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago. See what I've been up to for the last 16 years at www.bugsy.me |

Oh BoiseMonday, Jan 8, 2007 from Ogden, UtahWell I was right when I left Boise knowing that I had a bunch of new friends for life. Now that I’m close to Boise my friend Kayla from the crew came to visit me for the day and tomorrow. We wandered around the town. I bought a new pair of jeans finally and even tried on a pair of shoes. I think it’s been almost three years since I’ve tried on a pair of shoes. It felt pretty cool, so it was nice to have an idea of what new shoes would be like. Haha. My problem is that I don’t want to throw out my shoes no matter how beat up they are. I want to be able to say that I wore them to all 50 states, even if that means having to duct tape them together to make them last. We also took a nice afternoon drive to Snowbasin, which is where some of the Olympic events were held in 2002. It’s probably the nicest lodge I’ve been in out of all my snowboarding adventures. If I got to snowboard on this trip or not I’m not sure. It’s one more sacrifice I’ve made. However, when this is all said and done, maybe next winter I’ll pursuit my other dream of moving out west and being a snowboard bum while I work on the book. Once again it’s quite nice to hang out with someone my age again and see a familiar face on the road. We attempted to get some ice skating in but the rink was being used by those pesky hockey players. Haha. I wanted to get out there and play. What’s notable about it is that the rink is another one of the facilities used in the 2002 Olympics. And it was all topped off with a nice ice cream cone. But what’s with Baskin Robbins, did they change they’re logo? ![]() ![]() ![]() From Chicago, IL
