You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago.

Dream, Firehouse, DC

Friday, Aug 3, 2007 from Bellevue, Pennsylvania

I’m a dreamer. And for the first time I last night I had a dream about the end of my trip. It was kind of a reality check and wake up call. The dream took place on the last night of the trip where I was spending just one more night in a host’s bed. It was an interesting feeling when I woke up. Each night it’s getting a little more exciting. We’ll see if I have any more dreams about the finish.

Also on today’s agenda was making my 4th stop to a fire station. Those stations include stops in Nebraska City, Kansas City, Clanton AL, and now Bellevue just on the edge of Pittsburgh. Each time I visit one I feel more inclined to be a volunteer firefighter someday, or fulltime? It’s a cool job, they always know people in the community, it’s intense, and the list goes on. I might have to sign up one day.

The day was capped off with walking down to DC Cooper’s house, the rockstar neighbor. DC has had great success overseas including being voted the #1 vocalist in Japan, voted higher than Ozzy Osbourne, Axel Rose, and others. He played a few tracks for me as we chatted about the music industry and the potential I may have as being a band manager. Most impressive was when he started speaking Japanese fluently. A great stop indeed. I’m a growing fan of classic and hard rock now. Thanks DC.
