6th Month Anniversary

Has anyone noticed that it’s March 1st? It’s a special day. Can anyone else tell me what it is? Today is the 6th month anniversary of driving the Compass. It’s a beautiful thing. to celebrate our 6th month anniversary I’m thinking I’ll take the Jeep out on a date today. For starters we’ll go find some muddy dirt roads and get dirty. From there I’ll give the Compass a soothing bath, so it’s spotless and shiny. Follow that up with a nice dinner at the local drive-in restaurant. I’ll lavish my Compass with wonderful gifts: air fresheners, new CDs, and maybe even a GPS unit. To cap the night it’d be great to find a drive-in theatre. From there we’ll drive into the night where I’ll really rev its engine. Remember everyone, always practice safe reving.

oh yes, I have been thinking all week that you are reaching your 6 month anniversary today. wow......you've given us quite a 'ride' too over the last 6 months, from our initial unbelief & excitement that Crysler was actually going to give you a JEEP, to traveling along with you as you visit each state, meet new people and enjoy new experiences. Thanks for the ride, Bugsy, and for maybe teaching your old folks a bit about making dreams come true....love you lots.....

Happy Halfway!? Is this halfway? I suppose days wise it is if you finish in the 365 days (actually 1/2 way into today - 182.5). But, you're not quite at State 25 (1/2 way) and who knows where the halfway point will register on the mileage. I suppose you won't know until you're done...Well, Happy 6 Month anniversary then!
