You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago.

New Mexico Theatre

Sunday, Jan 14, 2007 from Albuquerque, New Mexico

This is a good lifestyle here in New Mexico. Things have been very chilled out. In 24 hours I’ve watched 3.5 movies. This is fantastic. I haven’t watched that many movies the last four months. Last night I watched Jackass 2. During lunch today I watched Star Wars Episode II. Before dinner I watched most of Master and Commander. Then this evening before bed we all watched Little Miss Sunshine. I’m letting my body relax and catch up with itself I suppose. But I didn’t sit around all day! I did get some exercise. Randal and I went skateboarding for a little way after Star Wars. It was great to get on my board. I wasn’t very good but I did almost land a noseslide on a bench. I haven’t even tried those in years. But I’ll always have kickflips, that’s like riding a bike, almost.

Once again it’s great to be spending some time with a full family and teenagers. I love to see them all laugh together. The kids poke fun at their parents, the parents poke fun at their kids, and even the kids friends get in on it. It’s also great to see everyone help clean up the kitchen after dinner. Teenagers rock, that’s all I have to say.
