A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago. See what I've been up to for the last 16 years at www.bugsy.me |

A Few Days of SickTuesday, Jan 2, 2007 from Henderson, NevadaOne of my biggest worries on the trip was to get sick. Well that was the case starting the night of Christmas. It definitely set me back. There is no place like home when you’re sick, and when you’re sick away from home you want to be at home more than anywhere else. It’s a little embarrassing to get sick at somebody else’s house. I felt bad for Kirstin and Ricardo. I didn’t want to get in their way or get them sick. And I definitely didn’t want them to feel obligated to take care of me. But I’m feeling just about up to par now. I usually get sick once a year about this time. So the good thing is that I got it out of the way and I won’t have to worry about it the rest of the trip I suppose. It’s been a strenuous month, several climates, several time zones, and no such thing as a regular day or a sleep schedule. I planned to take a few days to myself somewhere around this time and it still hasn’t happened. It was supposed to happen in Hawaii, but no luck. Hopefully I can be at the top of my health for the remainder of the trip.
