A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago. See what I've been up to for the last 16 years at www.bugsy.me |

Nap TimeThursday, Sep 28, 2006 from White Bear Lake, MinnesotaThe busy week and the weeks before have all caught up to me. I woke up a little earlier today but still had my eight hours of sleep. But, I’m just tired today. The busy schedule has taken its toll. After a thirty-minute nap I’ll be ready to go again. I’ll need to be sure to hit the hay early both tonight and tomorrow night. I have morning radio shows the next two days. One here in Minneapolis and one for a station in Milwaukee on Saturday. Most of my time has been spent with Mark while here. Today we stopped yet another school. It’s a Spanish emersion school in the Minneapolis area. This makes it the fifth time talking to elementary kids. It’ll never get old. It’s a great joy. The kids were full of enthusiasm this morning and seemed to be very interested in what I was doing. I was able to show them some photos of my trip, which they enjoyed. And they absolutely love Rice. Afterwards we were able to bring the kids outside and show them the car. It didn’t take them long to spot Rice. I’m going to have a lot of kids following me around the country. The next stop was the capital building. A beautiful building. It’s actually a smaller replica of the United States capital. And from there we went to the Walker Art Center. I’m still not sure what I think of the Walker. It’s a great museum, very modern art. There wasn’t much art that hit it for me though. A lot of the art left me scratching my head, but a great museum regardless. It’s great because I was on their webpage often when I worked at Kresge Art Museum at MSU. I was the web designer for a year and was continually looking at other art museum sites. The walker was always one of my favorites. Good stuff. Nap time. Wake me up in 30 minutes. |
