-Bugsy You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago. See what I've been up to for the last 16 years at www.bugsy.me |

Compass vs. EscortSunday, Oct 21, 2007 from Baraga, MichiganThe old car: 2007 Jeep Compass Limited 4x4 The new car: 1998 Ford Escort Wagon
Comment by Robert From Denver, CO That pic must be from quite a while ago; I would think the trees around Baraga would be pretty bare by now.
Comment by Elizabeth From Kent, WA If you move to the northwest, you'll never have to worry too much about car problems, public transit is always available. I bus from Kent to Renton for work and although it adds to the commute time, its worth it. Saves in gas and save on the environment.
Comment by Yellowtail3 From LIzard Lick, NC Dude, don't despair on getting the Escort, esp. if it is a 5spd. Some virtues: cheap, very cheap to operate, roomy enough for four, good-handling. As Escort is sufficient and capable a car, as a 30-30 is a deer rifle in the woods. take care of it, and enjoy the near-40mpg mileage if you drive it right. |
