You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago.

A Little More About Bugsy

Tuesday, Jul 25, 2006 from Lansing, Michigan

It’s been an exciting week! Things are coming together. I had a great weekend with my college buddies watching our good friend Chris get married. I roomed with him for three years. As the first friend of mine to get married, and a very dear friend at that, it’s given me a fresh perspective of marriage. It was something special.

And yesterday was great! The Detroit Free Press ran a great feature article, “Five Things: About an Eager Traveler.” I’m quite humbled. There have been a good number of responses from people, and all very inspiring. One girl from Wyandotte, MI wanted to know some more basic things about me, such as favorite movie. I figure why not let everyone know a little more, and please don’t hesitate to ask anything you’d like to know. Here are some favorites…

Movie: Big Fish
Band: The Smashing Pumpkins
Food: My mother’s chicken fajita pizza and ice cream
Ice Cream: Mint chocolate chip or cookie dough
Candy: Reese’s Pieces and skittles
Cheese: Pepperjack
Beverage: Chocolate milk
Color: Yellow
Book: Walking by David Thoreau
Season: Winter
Sport: Hockey
Pens: Pilot V-Ball Extra Fine
Artist: Andy Warhol and Dave Kinsey
Animals: Tigers and squirrels
Michigan town: Marquette
Actor: Robert Redford, Owen Wilson
Actress: Natalie Portman

That’s a good list for now. I’m sure more will come to mind. -xo

HI! I am working out of the Baraga office this week and just had a nice visit with your Dad and some of your Mom's great Snicker dessert. I worked with your Dad here before I transfered to Baldwin and then Lansing , where I am stationed now. I always enjoy your family's Christmas news letter and am happy to send you a note. Take care.

Bugsy!! How can Marq. be your favorite town?? What about Baraga? your HOMETOWN. I think I know the reasons, but never forget where you grew up. For me, even Marq. might be to big, give me a crossroads and a general store, all a man needs.
