-Bugsy You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago. See what I've been up to for the last 16 years at www.bugsy.me |

Columbus AgainThursday, Aug 16, 2007 from Columbus, IndianaI had no idea, Columbus, IN is a leader in architecture. I would have never known. Some very interesting buildings around town. Two families in a row who had two daughters of the same age. But very different families. In Columbus, Valkyrie had first heard of my trip through U.25 magazine. Her family shows me a great time! The family has been to all 50 states together, spread over a few years. A lot more questions to answer, some great questions! The enthusiasm always goes a long ways. This trip has been strange. There is a huge variety of regional foods across the United States, but there are so many I’ve had out of their regional areas. Mexican food and cactus in Hawaii. Pasties in Wyoming. And now Navajo tacos in Indiana. I was originally told to try Navajo tacos while I was in Arizona and New Mexico, but never came across them. Strange how things work, here I had them in Indiana. Best tacos of the trip! Well down Howard, well done! Valkyrie and Alex gave me a great biking tour of Columbus as we checked out different sites. We finished my time in Columbus with a game of ultimate frisbee. I got my butt kicked! Now it’s off to Bloomington to the university with Valkyrie and Alex through the weekend. P.S. I can’t stand this heat! |
