You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago.

Gang Green

Monday, Oct 30, 2006 from Boise, Idaho

What do you get when you put seven college students together (that is if I can still call myself a college student, at least an honorary one while I’m at BSU) that are dressed from head to two in green? You get gangrene, oops, I mean Gang Green. That was the crew last night. And you have to let your guard down if you’re hanging with this crew. I don’t think I’ve ever worn shorts that are that tight and that small, but it’s part of the experience and one of the most creative costumes I’ve seen around here, thanks to Theodore.

Now words might not show how amazing the night was and the vibe of our costumes. But don’t call us Ninja Turtles! Half of the adventure was taking a couple hours hunting around the city for green, green, green. We were decked out in green with socks, skimpy shorts, t-shirts, shoelaces, bandanas, gloves, and masks.

Mr. Theodore Hicks and his girl Kristy led the crew. The entourage included Joey, Brady, Dave, Dan, and myself as an honorary member. We also brought with us two doctors from “Nip Tuck,” Nate and Cole. To hang with this crowd you’ve got to be spontaneous, a little crazy, and ready for anything. We chilled at the house, had some laughs, and of course we took some hilarious photos. And we had to go to a costume party. And we did more than just show up, we brought the party. Gang Green was all the talk. What a night it was!

I have to say that this is a really cool crowd to hang out with. It was a crew of college students who are all stoked on life, down to earth, easy going, friendly, and I have to say some of the absolutely most fun people to hang out with. There guarantee to give me the most fun of all the 50 states with the coolest people might just pull through. Cheers! …to Gang Green and a lot more friends and memories in this long journey.

Oh and one more thing, this is quite possibly the best Halloween ever, and it hasn’t even happened yet. A great group, an original costume, having the time of my life, and feeling right at home as if I’ve known these guys for ages. A job well done representing Halloween on the trip.
