-Bugsy You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago. See what I've been up to for the last 16 years at www.bugsy.me |

Back to CollegeSaturday, Oct 28, 2006 from Boise, IdahoWhat can I say, I miss college. I graduated about six months ago and I’m back at it. This time I’m rocking out at Boise State University. It’s home of the famous “Smurf Turf.” The BSU Broncos are currently undefeated and ranked #15 in the country. I’ll be wearing my blue and orange next Wednesday night at the football game. The university has about 20,000 students. I’m staying with Teddy, his girlfriend Kristy, and visiting with Kristy’s mom who’s also in town for the week and being host. I’ve been hanging out with the guys, mostly from the BSU lacrosse team. Teddy here, is the captain, #45. Yesterday, Teddy treated me by bringing me to his English class. So, there are some things I have to say that I don’t miss about college. It was pretty dry. But I did learn a little bit about writing drama. While in Idaho, BSU is going to represent my stay, living the college life again. And BSU is a fantastic university. Of course they’re also going to be representing Halloween while I’m here. We’ve got a pretty original group costume, but I can’t let the secret leak out yet. Once again I’m all the way out in Idaho and I’m finding some Michigan kids. Always good to hear. The crew went to PF Chang’s last night and us Michigan boys were depressed with Detroit’s loss in the World Series. But a great dinner, it was Kristy, her mom Nancy and five college guys. It’s great hanging with Nancy as well as she chills with all the college kids. It’s a pretty chill place. And I have to give props to Teddy’s pit-bull, which he named Rubicon after Jeep. And one more quick note… to all of you who think there is nothing to do in Idaho, you’re wrong. Idaho is a pretty sweet state. Teddy is quite the ambassador of the state saying, “If there was an ocean here I would never leave.” Of course that’s coming from a San Diego kid.
