You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago.

Rambling Again

Thursday, May 17, 2007 from Atlanta, Georgia

Plans change. And then they change again. In such a fashion that’s how I found myself back to Atlanta. Though it’s quite necessary. I have been looking at a list of the largest metro areas in the country. When it comes to just driving through I haven’t driven in almost every major city through the first 31 states. Impressive. And it’s good timing too as I caught just the end of a radio story that announced the rudest and most courteous cities in the country to drive in. Even with all my travels I really don’t think there is a big difference from state to state or coast to coast (actually, there aren’t many difference at all when it comes to people, we’re pretty much the same everywhere), but I did notice that a lot of people pulled out right in front of me when I was in Louisiana.

Atlanta was short lived, but it was good. There are some people I would of liked to see, but didn’t get to. And there are lots of things I would have liked to see, but didn’t get to. Now that’s the case for most of this country. I look forward to Round II because I can do all 50 states again without seeing a single thing I saw on the first trip. Anyways… I’m rambling again. I’ve been needing to ramble a lot however. Poor Jen (Rice’s mom). She has to hear every single crazy little detail of the trip when I call. But somebody has to, I need to vent about all this stuff! See, I’m rambling again.
