-Bugsy You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago. See what I've been up to for the last 16 years at www.bugsy.me |

Frisbee Golf & Guitar HeroSunday, Jun 24, 2007 from Stamford, ConnecticutThere’s no doubt that one of the absolute coolest parts of this trip is all the new things I get to try. One of the strangest sports I’ve tried is probably iceblocking. The newest addition the the list is Frisbee golf, real Frisbee golf. I’ve palyed with the real discs before earlier on this trip just in the backyard while in South Dakota. And I used to play with a regular Frisbee when I was a kid around my hard. But this was the real deal and a course through the woods. It was tricky! I’ve got a lot to learn, but it was a lot of fun. A great way to spend the afternoon with some friends, and free! The park we were at here in Connecticut is one of the nicest parks I’ve been to on the trip. There is a lot of good fun people can have without spending a lot of money. I’d say it’s better than spending $50 out on the golf course. Just don’t’ lose a disc in the woods. Thanks for the game Larry and Mike! Variety is the spice. And after playing an outdoor game mine as well follow up with a good video game. Guitar Hero 2. It was my first time playing and I was a little embarrassed that I would be terrible at it. Well I was. But it really is a fun and addicting game, I can now see why it’s so popular. I’ve had a few other chances to play it on the trip but passed it up. It’s a great new addition to The Hometown Invasion Tour resume. I’m still not sure if I’ll try Dance Dance Revolution at any point, but I did get out and dance once on this trip.
Comment by Molly From UP and MSU, MI You should definitely try DDR - it's addicting. And good exercise.
