-Bugsy You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared in 2006/07. At the time, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few backend changes were made to keep the site functioning, but it appears just as it did 16 years ago. See what I've been up to for the last 16 years at www.bugsy.me |

Driving HabitsFriday, Jan 19, 2007 from Colorado Springs, ColoradoMy route today went through Taos and Questa in New Mexico and then up through San Luis, Colorado where I headed back towards I-25. There was some beautiful scenery as I entered Colorado, amazing mountains, this is why I love Colorado. But I already mentioned that. So in these 12,000 miles that I’ve traveled I feel that I’ve become a much better driver in both the city and on the freeway. …my old roommates might argue that I’m a terrible driver. But that doesn’t matter. After spending so much time driving I have found more and more things that annoy me with other drivers because I see it again and again. It’s all the small things like leaving their turn signal on for miles or forgetting to turn it on when they turn. What really annoys me is people not keeping the same speed on the freeway, which I’m sure I do the same at times. So there I am on the freeway, I have my cruise control on and pass this guy who’s going below the speed limit. There was almost nobody else on the freeway. I turn back into the right lane several car lengths in front of him. The next thing I know he’s speeding up and he’s right on my tail and in the left lane about to pass me! I look over and he’s in this tiny little car and his left foot is sitting up on the dashboard while he’s driving. Who does that? Then all of a sudden he drops his speed again and now he’s going slower than me on the left and he’s staring at the Compass while taking out a big notebook and writing something down. I assume he was writing down the web address or the name of the trip or something. Then he dropped his speed again and he was a long ways behind me. Strange. Just one of the random things I come across.
