You're viewing the original Hometown Invasion Tour website as it appeared when launched in 2006. Back then, a site built with tables and flash was commonplace. A few changes were made, but it appears as it did eleven years ago. View a modern version or see what I've been up to the last ten years at www.bugsy.me |

Farewell to MSUTuesday, Aug 22, 2006 from Lansing, Michigan…at least for now. I’m leaving at the worst possible time. As everyone else is coming back to MSU, I’m leaving. It’s been eight full months since I’ve even been home. With all the freshman coming back to State some of them will be homesick after only eight days. It’s been five full school years at MSU. The first summer was the only summer I spent at home. MSU has unequivocally become another home. It’s a place where I’ll always feel welcome, always feel like I belong, and will always be able to look on as a place where I grew to become who I am today. Five years! It’ll be hard to leave. All the friends that are here, even the ones that aren’t here anymore, the memories still are. And ahhh… not enough can be said about the beauty of MSU during the fall. Fall at MSU is the quintessential college experience. The Red Cedar, fall colors, tailgates and football, and all the new faces on campus. It truly was the time of my life. From the clubs, sporting events, grand river, four full seasons, friends, good and bad professors, and living in the dorms, it was all very good to me. I graduated almost four months ago, but the hard part is actually leaving the area. That’s when it’s really over. Hopefully the families I stay with won’t mind if I have a few lazy Saturdays where I can watch the football games of my alma mater. The great thing is… anywhere where I go in the country there are MSU alumni. Go green. Go White. -xo ![]() ![]() ![]() From Davis, CA
